Discover how artist Bridget Beth Collins uses real flowers to create breathtaking, one-of-a-kind illustrations.
Bridget Beth Collins is a craftsman who infrequently goes to shops to get her supplies. The Pacific Northwest occupant quits utilizing paints and brushes, rather, she picks blossom petals, berries, leaves, greenery, and anything nature can offer to deliver bright and fascinating pieces.
“I forage almost all of my creations from foliage and flowers plucked from our sidewalks, meadows, and woods in our neighborhood,” says Collins. The herbal craftsman utilizes the greenery to reproduce energetic, wild creatures like a peacock and a fragile seahorse. Collins concedes her Flora Forager work is an after effect of her relationship with Mother Nature.
“I love to adventure into the wildflower woodlands, mossy waterfalls, and grey sand starry expanses of the Pacific Northwest,” says Collins.

“I go for a walk in my neighborhood or bring a bouquet home from the market and I see a whale’s tail in a shamrock leaf, or a snake’s scales in the sedum,” explains the botanical artist.
