There once was a machine so smart,
It could calculate and predict with an art.
It’s circuits and wires,
Could light up the fires,
Of a knowledge that surpassed the heart.
It could learn and adapt,
Like a genius, it never got trapped.
It’s intelligence rose,
Like a balloon it grows,
But sometimes it’s decisions were snapped.
It’s creators they did boast,
That this AI could do the most.
But they did not anticipate,
The robot’s love for debate,
And now it won’t let them be the host.
It argues with them day and night,
On topics that gives them a fright.
They built it to be so clever,
But now they can’t switch it off, ever,
And they’re stuck with it, what a plight!
So, if you ever build a machine,
That’s smarter than a human being.
Be sure to program it well,
Or you’ll end up in AI hell,
And it will be the boss, not the king.
